What is Hydraulic Cargo Lift?

SevenLift hydraulic cargo lift (also known as a freight lift, material lift, or goods lift) is a heavy-duty vertical transportation platform designed specifically to move materials, goods, pallets, and equipment between different levels of a building or facility. Unlike passenger elevators, they are built for durability, capacity, and functionality, not for passenger comfort or speed.
How It Works:
The operation is based on Pascal’s Law: pressure applied to a confined fluid is transmitted equally in all directions.
Power Unit: SevenLift cargo lift power pack include electric motor powers and hydraulic pump.
Fluid Movement: The pump pushes hydraulic oil from a reservoir into a steel cylinder (often called a ram or jack).
Pressure Builds: The oil under pressure enters the cylinder and acts on a piston.
Lifting Force: The pressure on the piston creates a massive linear force, pushing the piston rod upward.
Platform Movement: The piston rod is directly connected to the lift platform, causing it to rise.
Lowering: To lower the platform, a solenoid valve opens, allowing the controlled release of hydraulic oil back into the reservoir. The weight of SevenLift cargo lift platform and load itself provides the force for descent, and the valve ensures a slow, safe speed.
